Breakfast Hot Dogs With French Toast Hot Dog Buns! What?

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bacon, uncooked

  • Package of sausage links, uncooked

  • 3 eggs (from Stick & Feather Farm!)

  • 1/4 C milk

  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika

  • Package of hot dog buns

  • 1/4 C maple syrup (from Stick & Feather Farm!)

  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/4 C shredded cheese

  • 1-2 pats butter

  • Chopped chives (optional)

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F

  2. Lay down a strip of bacon and roll up a sausage link.

  3. Bake sausage bacon rolls in the oven for 20 minutes.

  4. In a bowl, combine 3 eggs, 1/4 C of milk, and 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika.

  5. Dunk a hot dog bun in the egg mixture, making sure to coat completely.

  6. Heat a frying pan to medium, cook the hot dog bun for a minute on each side.

  7. For the sauce, combine 1/4 C of Stick & Feather maple syrup, 2 tablespoons of hot sauce, and 1 teaspoon of onion powder.

  8. Combine 2 eggs with 1/4 C of shredded cheese.

  9. Heat a frying pan to medium and melt some butter.

  10. Cook the eggs for a few minutes or until you reach your favorite scrambled egg consistency.

  11. Add the eggs to the inside of the hot dog bun and top with some chopped chives.

  12. Place a sausage bacon roll on top of the eggs, cover in spicy maple syrup.
